The VOW (Virtual Office Website) Policy and Rules and additions to the Glossary are now included in the current MLS® Rules and Policies that have been approved by the Board of Directors, and in accordance with Section 15 of the TRREB By-Law, will come into effect November 15, 2011.

This service, which is available to TRREB Members, allows for secure password-protected websites designed to provide consumers the ability to search certain MLS® listing data, with the benefit of a REALTOR® Member's oversight, supervision, and accountability.

In response to a changing business environment, at a strategic planning session held in July 2010, TRREB embarked on the development of a policy to provide for VOWs.

TRREB is offering access to listings in a RESO API format. VOW API access requires that the Brokerages sign the TRREB VOW Datafeed Agreement, in order for Members to participate.

VOW API access allows all Members that have signed the above agreement, access to the listings data via the API and the ability to designate an Affiliated VOW Partner (AVP) to do it for them. Brokerages/Members using the VOW API access must adhere to the VOW Policy and Rules. Brokerages/Members can participate in the VOW program by completing a TRREB VOW Datafeed Agreement.
